What We Believe Concerning Communion
Our churches believe and teach the real Presence of Christ in the sacrament of Holy Communion. That is: in, with and under the elements of bread and wine, we receive the True Body and True blood of our Lord, for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthing of our union with Him and with each other and confessing this faith in our receiving the Sacrament, we also believe with St Paul, that any who are in doubt, not instructed, or who hold beliefs concerning the Sacrament different from the Real Presence, do so at their own spiritual harm. Let each peson examine himself, and if your belief and understanding are the same as ours, you are welcome at the altar of Christ the King Lutheran Church Missouri Synod of Mission Valley.
